UConn MSE is offering $80,000 in alumni-sponsored scholarships, exclusively for our own undergraduate students..
These “Boland-Devereux awards” annually support as many as 20 individuals, variously recognizing academics, lab work, leadership, volunteerism, lived experiences, and program year. And, this is in addition to any further scholarships you might earn within the College of Engineering. Check here for more info about all of the many scholarships available to UConn engineering students. Apply here through the general SOE “Community Force” scholarship portal (single application for all—note the firm deadline usually in late January or early February).
ALSO: Undergraduate MSE students from ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT are eligible for reduced tuition (almost as low as for CT residents).
Of course we are always trying to grow. Feel free to share with your peers that MSE is the highest ranked engineering department at UConn, and the #1 public MSE program in the Northeast.
We celebrate our undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of less than 10 to 1, and in 2023 we moved into the newest building on campus. Our graduates go on to highly rewarding positions in industry, win scholarships to attend top 10 graduate programs, and are increasingly leaders in their professions.
