UConn MSE is offering $80,000 in alumni-sponsored scholarships, exclusively for our own majors.
This will annually support as many as 30 individuals, variously recognizing academics, lab work, leadership, volunteerism, diversity, and program year. And, this is in addition to any further scholarships you might earn within the School of Engineering. Apply here through the general SOE “Community Force” scholarship portal (single application for all—note the firm 2/28/21 deadline)
Students from ME, MA, NH, RI, and VT are also eligible for reduced tuition (almost as low as for CT residents).
We are always trying to grow. Feel free to share with younger students that MSE is the highest ranked engineering department at UConn, and also the #1 public MSE program in the Northeast.
We celebrate our undergraduate student-to-faculty ratio of less than 10 to 1, and in 2022 MSE will move into the newest building on campus. Our graduates go on to highly rewarding positions in industry, win scholarships to attend top 10 graduate programs, and are increasingly leaders in their professions.
